Every piece of linen installed with an RFID tag holds all the information about where it was last scanned and how many times it has been washed. This intelligent process of laundry saves a lot of time and money. Besides that, it provides accurate data on the item count measurement and enhances staff efficiency.

The automated laundry process for hotel linens is completed in 7 stages:

• The linens are picked up from the customers to the van
• From the van, it reaches the counting area
• The scanners in the counting area count them as back in stock through RFID
• The data from the RFID chip is used to adjust production workflow in real-time
• Time for packers to pick an order to reload the customer stock
• Items are scanned out. The packer is instantly notified if a wrong colour or size has been picked up, holding up the order from proceeding
• Lastly, the items are scanned out and days are counted until they return to the laundry.
